Photos of Cruisen By The Bay on 11 August 2007 will be posted on Mission Valley Cruisers website. They had over 400 pre-registrations this year so the turn-out this year may have exceeded last year's, which was hampered by road construction. But this years extreme heat and smoke from the 99,000 acre (+/-) Chippy Creek Fire near Niarada could have discouraged some potential participants (due to local smoke and ash).
In the kids carnival at Riverside Park, the Miracle of America Museum had Dave driving the antique backwards tractor, pulling the blue barrels full of kids and Jerry photographing kids in the Rat Patrol Jeep. We also had race car photos and military insignias for sale. Joanne and Jane took tickets (50¢ each or a package deal for entrants and visitors).

FWIW: The $8 chicken dinner at the Rodeo Grounds before the Jan and Dean concert, had a line of people about 200 feet long when I got there, so I passed on that. Later they announced that the price of barbecued boneless chicken breasts was reduced to $3 per plate, so I picked up a plate of 6, on my way out. What a deal, because the chicken breasts were juicy with a glaze sauce and an herb & pepper rub. -JS
NOTE: I don't have any pictures from Polson Festival Days on Sunday because I didn't go to any mud races on that day. -JS
